What are you letting into your life? Are you living true to yourself? Have you considered your life's mission? Do you have goals to create a new vision for yourself? Well, it is a time to engage in perpetual seeking. What is your intention? Are you opening up to infinite possibilities? If you are not considering to take action on these questions, you will be robbing yourself of the nourishment to discover the real you. In undertaking such discovery, you will not only be expanding your mind, but will also be building a resilient body. Your outlook about life will improve and you will begin seeing the world with fresh eyes.

Practice And Exercise

Your goal is to achieve a balanced self. This calls for listening to your body, breathing fresh air, taking walks in nature, listening to music and meditating. These decisions will provide opportunities to enjoy the sunshine, dream and practice self healing on a stressful body. These are all ways of caring for yourself. Inevitably, a person will need to engage in honest conversations with friends and all loved ones. Make this a time when you do not answer the phone nor send emails. Such moments use for physical work outs, hobbies e.g., walking, hiking, swimming, dancing, photography and playing games.

Such breaks have to be interspersed with other vital purposes when you wish to seek knowledge and develop the mind. Joseph Addison (1672 – 1719), English essayist, playwright and politician says, “Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body.” Your object is to build both body and mind. But first ask yourself what is right with you? Some persons approach life wrongly by focusing on their negative aspects that jump out at them. You must have been doing some things right in your life that you are not taking credit for.

Moral Stamina

It is time to be responsible for your actions. Find your peace in the world and practice peace making. Examine your values and ways of doing things better. Ask yourself the hard questions. Do not succumb to quick fixes nor delight in mediocrity. Quality must be your beacon. You will then be launching yourself on a journey of self-betterment. Keeping an open mind, you will discover situations and problems are not always black or white. Come to terms with the gray areas of life. It is okay to make mistakes in judgment. We all do. One thing you can always do though, is recheck your facts and recalibrate your thinking. This process is what makes life fun and interesting. In everything, remember to practice humility, be brave, develop moral stamina and be careful not to pass judgments on others.

Cultivate A Clean Mind

A Canadian American sports coach and innovator James Naismith (1861 -1939) admonishes, “Be strong in body, clean in mind, lofty in ideals.” These are goals we should all seek to achieve in life? The body is your temple, so we have to treat it with respect by liberating ourselves from all fears, whether they are big or small. Discovering your faults and acting on them call for taking steps that will lead to your eventual empowerment. This will mean finding the authentic you. A person has to be able to laugh at himself while playing various roles in life. It was the novelist of 1984, essayist and journalist George Orwell (1903 -1950) that believes, “Reality exists in the human mind, and nowhere else.” That is why having a clean mind is so important for a body to be healthy.

What does life's transformation mean for a Christian?

A Christian believes that God is the beginning of our new birth – we are born again and endowed with wisdom. So, it is only right and just to dependent solely on Him. Jesus Christ is seen as our provider and nourishment. We can do all things, but we have to remember to praise and worship Him for His goodness. Daily, we have to pray for guidance that His will be done through and by us. Let your mind be at peace and face the trials and tribulations that come your way. A person can do many things, but what is important is doing what is right to do. Approach your transformation as a vocation prayerfully seeking guidance. Put your trust in the Lord and He will see that you obtain your heart's desire. Nothing that has to do with our life, He is not aware of. So, every life's makeover has to start with acknowledging Jesus Christ as Our Lord and Savior.
